We collect information you give us directly (such as name, contact details, addresses and payment method), information generated when you use our services (booking history, GPS coordinates during a trip, in-app interactions) and limited technical information from your device.

We use personal information to:
- accept, dispatch and complete your taxi bookings;
- process payments and issue receipts;
- communicate trip updates, service changes and, with consent, marketing;
- respond to enquiries, complaints and lost-property requests;
- maintain safety and prevent fraud; and
- meet legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Disclosure
We disclose information to drivers and operators delivering your trip, payment providers, IT and cloud service providers acting on our behalf, and government bodies where required by law. Our service providers are contractually required to protect your information.
4. Storage and security
Personal information is stored on secure servers located in Australia. We use encryption in transit, access controls and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure — please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website and app use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and measure performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6. Access and correction
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@cityridemelbourne.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time.
